A sample of completed work across Florida hospitality, retail, marine and commercial property. Property type, market and scope as they actually were. Client and property names are withheld as a matter of course — the properties we work in would rather their infrastructure wasn’t a case study, and we’d rather be the contractor who respects that. References are provided on request for scoped work.

Selected projects

Select-service hotel, national flag

Hillsborough County · Hospitality

Scope: Core switch replacement and wireless controller cutover.
What was done: Replaced the property’s failing core switch and its wireless LAN controller, moved guest and back-of-house networks onto the new hardware, and verified coverage across the property before handing it back.
Constraints: Fully occupied hotel. The cutover was staged so guest internet and property systems were down for the shortest window the hardware allowed.

Five-site camera program

Sarasota, Hillsborough and Broward counties · Multi-site

Scope: IP camera and surveillance installation across five properties in two markets.
Site types: Two marinas and a marine dealership, a neighborhood retail plaza, and an automotive dealership — split across the Gulf Coast and South Florida.
Why it was ours: Marina, retail plaza and dealership environments, largely exterior coverage, spread across both coasts. One contractor with crews in both markets meant one scope, one standard and one point of contact instead of five local vendors.

Beachfront hotel, national flag

Broward County · Hospitality

Scope: Guest network remediation for the property’s hospitality network provider.
What was done: Traced what was physically installed against what the network was documented to be, corrected the differences, and returned the property to a working and documented state.
Constraints: Beachfront hotel in normal operation throughout, with no scheduled downtime available for guest-facing services.

Retail cluster, regional shopping center

Sarasota County · Retail

Scope: Store network and device rollout work across several brands in one center.
Tenants: National apparel and lifestyle brands, each running its own corporate rollout standard.
Why it was ours: Multi-brand work inside a single center, each on a schedule set by that brand’s national rollout. Being local to the center means a same-day return when one store slips or a device fails after turnover.

The kind of work this is

Most of what we do falls into a handful of shapes, repeated across hundreds of sites. Network refreshes and switch cutovers in occupied hotels and restaurants, done overnight so the property never goes dark. Structured cabling and IDF build-outs, terminated and certified. Camera and access control systems, from a handful of doors to multi-building properties. Audio/visual and digital signage. Device rollouts across retail and restaurant estates, on a schedule set by the brand rather than by us.

The work is split between properties that hire us directly and national integrators who need a crew on the ground in Florida that will do it to their standard and document it properly.
